Summer’s End (adventures in online selling pt3)

Well, summer vacation has come and gone. Now it’s back to the grind.

But is it really ‘the grind’ if you really enjoy what you do?

With the end of summer vacation comes the start of daycare for the littlest. And that means Mum gets to work in peace and quiet during the day. I’ve been looking forward to this moment for a little while now.I never thought it would be hard to get back to working several hours in a row. I guess I just got used to being interrupted. I’m sure I’ll get over it and soon enough I’ll be losing track of time.

It helps that I’ve got a few projects lined up. There will be books, a game, and new designs to my Etsy store.

Here’s a little update on my adventures in online selling.

I have received all my samples and have decided on my print providers. I’ve also reworked all the item descriptions. Turns out I was doing it all wrong. And the proof is that I’ve managed to boost my traffic a little. And I do mean a little, but it is better than none. Still trying to figure out the whole marketing thing. I’d love to hear your thoughts and ideas on how to get more sales, or at the very least increase traffic.

So now that everything is tweaked and ready to go I’ve decided to start with a GRAND OPENING SALE! That’s right! For ONE WEEK only (until the 20th of August) you can get 15% off any item in my shop. I will also be adding stuff throughout the week, so check back often.

Just this morning I added this cute little design…. A little something I came up with last night. Let me know what you think. 🙂
